Join us at The Shed Cafe for a free catch-up with other parents and carers. Enjoy morning tea and good company in a warm, welcoming space. It’s all about connection, conversation, and community. No pressure, no judgement, just time for you.

Location:

Bobbys Bakehouse
1 Lakefront Crescent, Gables

Bobby’s Bakehouse is an accessible venue with parking nearby. No childminding is available for this event.

What to expect:
  • Free morning tea
  • A chance to meet and connect with other local parents and carers
  • Space to unwind and feel seen
  • Drop by any time and leave when you need
This catch up is hosted by Kelly who is a mum of four children. After her son Lachie was born, she saw how overwhelming it was for parents raising children with disability to navigate support systems. This experience led her to study counselling and later social work, so she could better support families on a similar path. Kelly brings warmth, understanding, and a passion for creating safe spaces where families are supported and understood.
