The Sibling Role; Now & Into the Future: Webinar Series
Event description
Siblings of children with disability often carry big feelings and quiet responsibilities. These experiences can shape how they see themselves, their role in the family, and their future.
In this webinar, we’re joined by Siblings Australia for a thoughtful presentation exploring how siblings experience their role, both now and as they grow, and how to support them to thrive.
We’ll explore how to:
- Balance everyday caring between siblings
- Support healthy boundaries within sibling relationships
- Encourage each sibling’s unique identity and sense of self
- Talk about the future in open, age-appropriate ways
- Support siblings to pursue their own goals, education, and independence
