Event description

Wondering how to support your child through puberty? Join us for this free webinar with guest Natalie Gentile from Children’s Nursing Queensland, where we’ll explore what puberty looks like for children with disability and complex medical needs, how to approach sensitive conversations about body changes and offer practical advice on personal hygiene.

You’ll gain valuable strategies to help your child navigate the physical and emotional changes of adolescence, tailored to the unique needs of families managing complex care.

Please note: While the content is G-rated, we will discuss topics related to puberty, body changes, and personal care. We recommend viewing in a private setting.

The session will include a presentation followed by a Q&A. You can submit your questions in advance to [email protected]

Please note that we may not be able to respond to every question—especially if there’s a high volume or if questions are received less than 7 days before the event.

This event is facilitated by Pam

Pam and her husband Tom are raising their children in Canberra ACT.  They enjoy spending quality time together as a family, creating special memories and raising compassionate humans. Pam is passionate about supporting new mums and their mental health, particularly mums of children born with disability / additional needs and receiving diagnosis. She is also passionate about ensuring siblings get support too.  A mum four times over, her eldest born with congenital Cytomegalovirus, she has a unique insight and knowledge of the multifaceted journey many families face.  Sharing their story, not only helps her heal but also allows her to help and empower others.
