Currawarna Creative Workshop

Wagga Wagga City Council invites the Currawarna community to spend an afternoon with artist Carla Gottgens who will be creating a new bench seat for the community hall and playground. In this workshop the community will get creative and work hands on with Carla to develop designs for the seat. Focusing on the river, there will be creative exercises looking at the patterns water makes around objects, identifying fish and other creatures that call the river home, and opportunity to share stories and experiences of the river through drawing and symbol making.
