Dreaming And Painting

This event has passed Book Now

Event description

The Dreaming is a philosophy and creation stories of the first peoples of Australia, based on the inter-relation of all people and things. Inspired by the recent Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki exhibition Ever Present: First Peoples Art of Australia, this painting workshop provides kids with the opportunity to visually explore their own individual beliefs, expressing how they see the world through the medium of paint.

We'll enjoy the freedom of building our own Dreaming representing our personal experience through colour and form. The result will be several creative artworks, growing in scale throughout the day.

All materials supplied.
