Emerging Realms - Mixed Media Acrylic Painting

This school holiday workshop with visual artist Lucia Abena is designed to equip you with tools to build fantastical worlds on canvas. By drawing from true or imagined landscapes, we practice heightened awareness of trusting ‘what’ and ‘who’ wants to emerge into your painting. Have fun with acrylic paint techniques and mixed-media materials such as coloured tissue paper collage, oil pastels, and coloured pencils to amplify your image!
