EVolocity Launch Day - Manawatū 2025

WHAT IS EVOLOCITY

EVs are fun. They are fast. They are the future.

EVolocity is a hands-on programme where school age teams design, build then race electric vehicles. EVolocity encourages innovation and students experience sustainable engineering, electronics and programming, welding, CAD design and fabrication - while gaining real-world skills of teamwork, project management and communication. LAUNCH DAY 2025

Launch Days are hosted at the start of each year for EVolocity teams, and anyone wanting to check out what the programme's all about. This year our Manawatū launch is hosted by UCOL, teams from across the Manawatū-Whanganui and Wairarapa regions and beyond are welcome to come along. This is a great opportunity to bring your students for a UCOL experience where they'll:

• Meet the EVolocity team and learn how the EVolocity program works
• Learn how to get started designing and building your own electric race vehicle
• Check out an electric race kart built by one of our past teams
• Hear from the UCOL staff about study opportunities

Can't stay for the whole time? That's okay! The event is free to attend and you'll be able to chat with our EVolocity team.

Please bring a drink bottle.

The Block 10 entrance location to the front car park is off Princess Street, directly across the road from the main UCOL building.
