Event description

Flourishing Workshop: How to Thrive, Not Just Survive

Are you ready to move beyond “getting by” and start truly thriving?
Join Clinical Psychologist Dr. Missy Wolfman from Empowerment Psychology for a powerful 1-hour workshop on flourishing — what it really means, why it matters, and how you can cultivate it in your own life.

In this interactive session you will:

  • Learn what flourishing is (and what it isn’t).

  • Complete Harvard University’s Flourishing Questionnaire to discover your strengths and growth areas.

  • Try evidence-based practices from positive psychology, including:

    • Gratitude journaling

    • Savouring the moment

    • Imagining your Best Possible Self

    • Exploring ways to connect and contribute

You’ll leave with practical tools and a clear action step to help you build more meaning, joy, and connection into your daily life.

Empowerment Psychology is supporting this Project Sunrise event, so tickets to this workshop are FREE and include one hot drink for all workshop participants.

This event forms part of Project Sunrise's Mental Health Awareness Week activity. Check out what else is happening over MHAW 2025 by visiting Project Sunrise's Humanitix page or following us on Instagram, Facebook or LinkedIn.
