Peter Woronzow: Director General Transport and Major Infrastructure Portfolio
Peter was appointed Director General in November 2021 and his experience spans more than 40 years. During this time he has had a significant role in several iconic Western Australian transport projects. As head of the Transport Portfolio, Peter is responsible for setting the strategic direction of transport for Western Australia, shaping the development of all major integrated transport plans and leading implementation of some of the state’s most transformational capital projects.

Barry Wilson: Market & Business Leader, Transport, WA
A dedicated Chartered Engineer with 30 years Engineering Consultancy and Management experience. Barry immigrated to Australia from Scotland in 1996 to start a new life and career in Consultancy Engineering; where his career began as a Project Engineer but soon developed into a Management and Business Development role. Business development is a key strength of Barry’s, having successfully built and maintained large consultancy groups within various industry sectors. These roles demand a high level of communication with various design disciplines, environmental, constructors, end user Client and Government approval bodies. April 2024, Barry joined Stantec and accepted the challenge to manage and develop the Trasport business within WA, with a focus on growing the current business and diversifying into new markets.
