Far too often we see a heading in a publication or report that indicates intersectionality was an afterthought or an add-on. Unfortunately, that usually means the data hasn’t been collected to make intersectional approaches possible or the team knew they should have been thinking about intersectionality, but followed the comfortable and familiar path.
