Introduction to Sewing, 4 week class

A real 'Back to Basics' course, these 4 three-hour sessions over 4 weeks are aimed at those who would like to increase their sewing skills, and is perfect for people with no or limited sewing ability.

Being a small class, you'll receive the assistance you need to increase your sewing skills, regardless of where you are starting from. 

Techniques we teach will be incorporated into 3 projects: 

• Pen/pencil wrap (can also be used for cutlery, make-up items etc)

• Drawstring backpack

• Elastic waist shorts

All materials, patterns and use of equipment is included. You can bring your own sewing machines or use one of ours!

Our workshops: All of our classes and workshops are created using circular economy principles. This means we love using many recycled and reclaimed fabrics and haberdashery items for our projects. We are deeply passionate about diverting textile waste from landfill and we do this through upcycling.
