Description

Little Hands, Lasting Traditions

A Mother & Child Phulkari Workshop

Join us for a welcoming, hands-on Phulkari Embroidery Workshop designed for mothers and children aged 5 - 13 to explore Punjabi textile traditions and spend quality time together through creativity.

In this session, you will be introduced to the rich heritage of Phulkari, a traditional Punjabi embroidery art form, and guided step by step through the foundational stitches and techniques that make it so distinctive.

The workshop will focus on collaboratively creating the child's embroidery design, with dedicated guidance and support to help them learn the technique at their own pace. Each mother figure will also receive additional fabric to take home, allowing her to continue practising the same technique and work on her own embroidery piece after the session.

No prior embroidery experience is needed. All materials, including fabric, threads, and tools, will be provided so you can enjoy the creative process together without any preparation.

Come ready to learn, create, and connect through Punjabi craft and culture while making meaningful memories, one stitch at a time.

Each ticket covers one adult and one child. You only need to purchase a ticket for the adult, as no separate ticket is required for the child.

Location: Parkside Yards, Southall

Time: 3 PM - 6 PM

Date: Saturday, November 14
