Meditative Art
Event description
When you're feeling stressed and overwhelmed, sometimes the best medicine is to focus on something simple and slow. That's the premise behind our Meditative Art workshop.
This workshop is suitable for anyone who needs to slow down. No special skills are required, but you must be able to comfortably hold a pen/marker for most of the workshop. You'll have plenty of guidance when you need it and plenty of space when you don't.
We'll be working with watercolors, markers, gel pens, ultra-fine paint pens, and possibly even some golden Gesso. All materials are provided, but if you want to bring your own watercolors, micron pens, gel pens, etc., to match your favorite palette, please feel free.
This class is geared toward adults, but is open to participants aged 13 and above. Participants under 16 years of age must have a registered adult present at all times. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE A WAIVER ON FILE. We will have hard copies available on site. Please also refer to our parking and accessibility information.
