Mossies' under the Microscope (for children 8 years +)

You don't have to go to the zoo to see amazing animals, you can find them right under your nose with a magnifying glass. Whether it is in a bucket in our backyard or drains, streams and wetlands, a whole community of interesting creatures can be found in freshwater around our suburbs. 

This workshop will introduce you to the world of the macroinvertebrate and adults and children will all be fascinated by their interesting biology and behaviour, particularly the mighty mosquito.
