The Comparison Trap: Daytime Virtual MyTime
Event description
Why does it feel so hard to stop comparing?
Even when we know every child is different, comparison can creep in and steal the joy from the moments that matter most.
This session is a safe space to explore the emotional toll of comparison and how to gently let it go. Together, we’ll shift the focus to what really matters: celebrating our own milestones, honouring your child’s pace, and finding joy in your families own unique journey.
In this peer group we’ll explore:
Why comparison shows up and how it impacts our thinking
The unspoken grief behind chasing ‘normal’
How to notice and interrupt the comparison cycle
Ways to celebrate progress that truly reflects your child’s journey
This group is facilitated by Kristy:
Kristy is a proud mum to Dash, who is Autistic and has ADHD, just like his mum. She’s passionate about connecting with other families and celebrating neurodivergent joy and all the strengths that come with thinking differently.
