Repair Day- Shoe ReShade

Want to revive those super comfy shoes for walking, dancing or your next event? This technique is great at revitalising colour and/or covering scuff marks to create a fresh aesthetic! 
These 20min sessions will allow for your shoes to be assessed, ensure they are suitable for painting (the paint works on most materials, but no suede). The shoes will be prepped with stuffing to keep them taut and with taping/de-lacing if necessary to ensure a neat finish, then the shoes will be spray painted with two coats with one solid colour, revitalising your shoes. And wallah! The beautifully revamped shoes are ready for a waltz! 

Courtney’s artistic practice is rooted in environmental sustainability and joyful, embodied storytelling. She works with found and low-impact materials to invite bold self-expression.

Where: RePlace (towards the middle of the site on the right as you enter the Inner West Sustainability Hub from Prospect Rd). Look for our signage. 

Accessibility: If you have any access or support requirements in order to participate fully please let us know. The site is accessible via paved pathways with a slight slope from street to buildings.

Who: This service is presented by the Green Living Centre, an initiative of Inner West Council and is provided free to residents of the Inner West local government area. As numbers are limited, the service is only available to residents of Inner West Council area.
