Event description

Journey into the habitat of the dry, hot Savanna for a two-day sculptural workshop, studying the form and features of animals such as the Cheetah, Giraffe, Elephants and Spotted Hyena.

Kids will create a collection of observational drawings to inspire the construction of a 3D model using wire, foil and air-dried clay.

We'll finish off our small-scale animal sculptures with acrylic paint, adding distinctive details to bring their character to life with the guidance of published author and illustrator Stephanie Thatcher.

All materials supplied.
