Wild Child Gardens: Design for Backyard Nature Play with Tamsin Scott

Price $100 – $120 AUD + BF Get tickets

Event description

Discover how to re-wild your garden to inspire endless opportunities for imaginative play. Using nature’s gifts of plants, sand, mud, rock and wood, design a playful wonderland on your doorstep to keep the kids happy for hours on end!

Parents, carers, early childhood educators and budding landscape designers – this hands on, lively workshop provides expert guidance on how to transform your garden for natural play - all for relatively little cost. You will learn about nature play principles, the design process, how spaces and materials ignite creative play and reflect on our own childhoods while we tune in to our children’s play needs. Then we bring all we have learnt into a design hub to develop our beautiful new garden visions as written descriptions, sketches, or a colourful garden plan ready to bring to fruition.

Wild Child Gardens is suitable for all adults - no prior design skills are needed. Older children who are interested in participating are welcome if accompanied by an adult.
