Worry Doll Workshop
Event description
A St Andrew's Wellbeing Centre program for Members.
A fun and inclusive activity, this creative and mindful workshop invites participants to make their own worry dolls — a playful and uplifting tradition inspired by Guatemalan culture. The session begins with the heartwarming story of Silly Billy, setting the tone for a gentle, hands-on experience where we weave our stories into our dolls. Using natural wood found in nature and colourful wool, you’ll craft a tiny doll to “carry” your worries, discovering simple ways to release stress, build resilience, and find calm. We finish with a joyful laughter session celebrating our creations — a beautiful reminder that even small acts of creativity can lighten the heart and ease the mind.
