In celebration of Sydney WorldPride, learn tips on writing diverse and inclusive stories with Will Kostakis, an award-winning author for young adults.

Mixing industry knowledge and practical writing advice, join Will at the library for a 2 hour workshop on Saturday 25 February 1-3pm.

This workshop will have a focus on writing inclusive characters and storylines.

This is a workshop for young adults, aged 15 - 24 years old.

Suitable for all writing levels.

Snacks provided.

Will Kostakis, an award-winning author for young adults. Winning the Sydney Morning Herald’s Young Writer of the Year when he was in high school, Will released his first novel Loathing Lola when he was just 19. His second novel, The First Third, went on to win the 2014 Gold Inky Award and was shortlisted for both the CBCA Book of the Year and the Prime Minister’s Literary awards. His trademark style in the fantasy genre can be seen in his most recent stories, Monuments and Rebel Gods.
