Event description

In this clay workshop you will design an Owl Trinket dish, You will roll the clay flat, shape to fit a small terracotta plate, then add the eyes and other characteristics, its a fun little project to do. Skills required: use a rolling pin , a cookie cutter. What to bring: Apron, water bottle. Small hand towel. Clay is a very rewarding medium. Create, shape, smooth, colour and fire suit ages 12 - adult, children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Laney Wing is a potter, teacher and maker who works out of her small, welcoming studio in South Arm. She's been playing with clay for years and still loves getting her hands dirty, whether she's throwing pots, making quirky garden pieces, or creating lanterns that glow.  Laney is all about sharing what she knows, she runs fun, hands on workshops and loves helping people discover the joy of making things.
