Event description

During the workshop, Annette will demonstrate a variety of techniques and provide a wealth of inspiration and support. You'll leave with your own personalised artist’s book/s and newfound inspiration to continue creating at home. This workshop invites you to explore your creativity alongside Annette, discovering the limitless possibilities of what a book can be. This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience from beginners to advanced. Come along for an afternoon of fun and creativity. If you have your own paper you want to use in your book, bring it along otherwise all materials can be supplied. All ages welcome, please note children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
Annette will share with you her love of creating books. She will demonstrate a range of techniques and provide a book full of ideas, inspiration and support so that you will go home with the books you make and hopefully a bag full of inspiration to create more at home. Books can be so many things - intimate and personal; one-of-a-kind or a small edition; sculptural; delicate and fragile; pretty and interesting; or serve no functional purpose; they can hold postcards or secrets or tell a tall tale … and can be created by anyone
