Everything is provided – paints, canvas, and guidance.

Maree O’Brien – The Rock Fairy of Opossum Bay
Maree O’Brien, aka the Rock Fairy, is a local artist based in Opossum Bay. She’s known for her vibrant rock art and colourful acrylic pour paintings—and for spreading a bit of magic by leaving her painted rocks all over the bay. You might even find one waiting in your front garden!
With Indigenous heritage and a love of community, Maree shares her skills through workshops held exclusively during the SAFIRE Winter Festival.
If you’ve ever found one of her rocks, consider yourself lucky—you were chosen!
