Event description

What makes a great support worker and how do you know who to trust?

The right support can make all the difference, but finding skilled, reliable, values-aligned workers isn’t always easy.

In this webinar, we’ll introduce you to the Support Workers Association of Australia (SWAA) an organisation working to raise the standard of support work through advocacy, accountability, and training. You’ll hear from founder Carly, a fierce advocate for both families and workers, about how SWAA is helping build a stronger, safer support system for everyone involved.

What you’ll learn

  • Who the Support Workers Association is and what they do

  • The qualities to look for in a great support worker

  • How families benefit when workers are part of SWA

  • How to feel more confident in choosing support worker for your family
