School’s Out for Summer

Beyond The Bell is a screen-free school holiday program designed to get kids outdoors, moving and connecting — no devices, just real, active days.

This summer, we’re based at Kirribilli Neighbourhood Centre, right in the middle of one of Sydney’s best playgrounds.

Our days make the most of Kirribilli, Milsons Point, North Sydney and the harbour foreshore. Depending on the day, kids might be heading out on a local adventure, playing Beyond The Bell Bingo, tackling team challenges, exploring parks and foreshore spaces, catching a ferry, having a picnic under the Harbour Bridge or cooling off with a swim at North Sydney Pool.

The aim is simple: keep kids outside, active and engaged, with a good mix of adventure, free play, teamwork and trying something new.

Kids are supported by qualified educators, with small groups, strong staff ratios and a focus on confidence, independence, inclusion and connection.

What a summer day can look like

8:00–9:00am | Arrival & Warm-Up
Check-in, meet the group and get moving with games to start the day.

9:00–10:30am | Morning Adventure
Team challenges, Beyond The Bell Bingo, scavenger hunts, strategy games and high-energy outdoor play.

10:30–11:00am | Morning Tea
BYO snacks and water.

11:00am–12:30pm | Out & About
Exploring Kirribilli, Milsons Point and North Sydney, with harbour walks, parks, ferry adventures and local challenges.

12:30–1:15pm | Lunch & Reset
BYO packed lunch.

1:15–2:45pm | Afternoon Session
Swimming at North Sydney Pool, outdoor games, creative challenges, team activities or another local adventure depending on the day and weather.

2:45–3:30pm | Wind-Down
Lower-key games, trivia, free play and time with friends.

3:30–4:30pm | Pick-Up
