What's In a Word? Building Language Around Religious Trauma

Event description

This continuing education course for mental health providers will focus on defining and understanding vocabulary that is helpful in supporting survivors of religious trauma.  This course offers 1.5 NBCC-approved CE credit hours. 

Upon completion, participants will be able to:

  • Effectively present various language options to clients to assist in describing their experience(s)
  • Describe at least 2 reasons a client may prefer certain terms for their experience(s)
