Noela Foxcroft has been part of the South Arm community for many years and is loved by many. Among her many claims to fame is her role as Mrs Marsh in the much-loved TV series Rosehaven. Now in her nineties, Noela still finds time to give back—knitting squares for the ABC Giving Tree each year. These squares are stitched together into cosy rugs to help keep people warm through our chilly Tasmanian winters. This year, Noela is once again offering a workshop as part of the SAFIRE Winter Festival. She’ll teach you her special “recipe” for knitting perfect squares (so they all fit together!) and show you how to turn them into your very own blanket. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned knitter, this is a chance to learn from one of our most treasured locals. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an Adult
