White Tiger Qigong is Taoist Medical Qigong, an ancient meditative exercise system for enhancing health and wellbeing.
This workshop offers a gentle introduction to Taoist Medical Qigong practices and is suitable for all levels of ability. Your instructor, Sarah Divine will expertly guide you through a nourishing collaboration of gentle movement, breath awareness & mindfulness.These practices restore energy & deeply relax the body to improve overall physical health and wellbeing. All practices are simple, and fully guided.

DURING THIS WORKSHOP YOU WILL LEARN:
~ Standing Meditation and Breathing Techniques for deepening internal awareness and revitalising the body.
~ A set of Meridian Qigong that can be used as a stand-alone practice or as a warm-up prior to deeper exercise.
~ ONE 8 Trigram Organ Qigong exercise. Characteristics of this Qigong include:
- Smooth continuous flowing movements
- Correct, natural alignments
- Use of naturally efficient motion
- Supple and soft movements
- Reaching one’s full range of motion in the trunk and upper limbs
- Using ground energy to stay rooted, by feeling rooted from the feet and legs
~ ONE 5 Animal Frolics exercise. Each exercise supports one of the 5 Organ systems for increased overall wellbeing. Characteristics of this Qigong include:
- Stepping - forwards, to the side, or across - with different leg positions
- Use of naturally efficient motion
- Reaching one’s full range of motion in multiple planes in all the major joints
- Balancing
- Movements which mimic different phases of an animal's behaviour
- Using ground energy to stay rooted, by feeling rooted from the feet and legs
~ Inner Alchemy Meditation practices
Studies have shown that the chemicals which indicate stress responses in the human body have clearly decreased from just ONE 1-hour Qigong session! Anecdotally, people have told me that they feel more energised, grounded and balanced after their very first session and beyond.

This Qigong is from the Taoist Medical Qigong lineage of exercises that harmonise the body, breath and mind. In China, Qigong is officially known as a science of maximising human potential and health. These practices are used successfully to improve wellbeing and mood, enhance recovery from injury and illness, and increase flexibility and mobility.

White Tiger Qigong is based on deep, dynamic Qigong exercises coupled with rhythmic, deep breathing and harnessing the intention spirit. The White Tiger Qigong School teaches Taoist Medical Qigong forms, including 8 Trigram Organ Qigong, 5 Element Qigong and 5 Animal Frolics Qigong. The School's unique approach views these ancient practices through the modern lens of sport & exercise science.
ABOUT YOUR TEACHER:
You will be expertly guided by Sarah Divine, Senior White Tiger Qigong Instructor, with a master's degree in sport and exercise science. Sarah has been practising Qigong for 11 years and teaching since 2015. She trained initially with Master Mantak Chia in the Universal Healing Tao Qigong system, and has been studying and training with Master Tevia Feng in White Tiger Qigong since 2016. She is now the most qualified White Tiger Qigong instructor in Australia.
Sarah is a member of the International Institute of Complementary Therapists and Fitness Australia.
